Braves 4/24
Last week the Braves did slightly better than 500 as the one more to go four and two over three and three.
Notables on the week Smoltz won a game and then left his next start injured, but thankfully it was minor and he will be able to go in his next scheduled start.
No one on the team is hot other than the young gun closers. Strickland, Hanrahan and Valverde are looking HOT. However many are ice cold to start the season, and some ICE Cold. Sanchez is batting .191 leading off the lineup, Boone is batting .208, and Cedeno is batting .210. The big bats of Sanchez, Cedeno, Ojeda and Obando only have a combined 15 dingers. Heck Berkman from Boston has 8 by himself.
Even with the putrid start the Braves have inched up the ERA board and now have the second best team ERA, and are second best at runs allowed.
The number 86 song of 2007 is pretty amazing, had never heard this version
