Cleo’s prognostications NL edition 2007
Welcome welcome to Ms Cleo’s hotline of 2007 predictions of the NL, this you know is where the answers to the burning questions will be found. Who will go to the postseason.
The Month of April is showing the NL to be a bloodbath, but is it really just a lot of pretenders that wont be there come September? Ms Cleo says yes they are.
Phillies are one team that is not a pretender, and will lead the NL East from start to finish. Ms Cleo is giving this as a guarantee. Atlanta looks to be an interesting team and just might be able to eak out another plyoff birth, more on that in a moment.
In the Central, the Pirates put some egg in Ms Cleo’s face last year, but this year no more. Chicago take the Central or my name aint Ms Cleo!
Arizona repeats again in the West, though the west has four teams that are capable of winning over 90 games, which will make the chase for the Wildcard very interesting.
San Francisco has been a long sleeping dog, and that dog is starting to awake. St Louis is making some noise in the Central. The Mets are in second place in the East. Houston made deals to get to the promised land in the Central. Colorado is eyeing post season. The Dodgers still are dangerous.
The Mets are pretenders, as are the Giants this year. A major injury is sidelining the Astros. That leaves the Cards, Braves, Rockies and Dodgers in the mix to try and claim post season glory. Who will it be, who will it be.
Out of the ashes of the Dynasty, the Braves will once again chase down the glory of the post season and snatch the Wild card from Colorado. Ms Cleo is even going further and saying they will get another 100 win season behind Greg and John putting in very close to 20 win seasons. One of them looks to actually get 20 wins.
