Braves 5/10
The week after Ms Cleo said the Phillies would hold the east from day one thru day 162, the Braves did the unthinkable and went on a win streak that even left Skipper speechless, and left the Braves with a one game lead in the East.
Time seamed to stand still last week for the old me Smoltz and Maddux, as both pitched in two games, both won both games, and Smoltz had a complete game shut out in one of his. Both are also tied for second most wins in the NL with five each. Bud Smith is tied for most wins in the NL with 6!
The batters are still woeful and have actually gotten worse. They are now only batting .251 as a team. After having the saving grace of being a top 10 team for dingers, they have fallen off there too and dropped to 12th.
