Hoffbl End of May AL
HOFFBL fans welcome to our review of the AL after the first two month of the season.
Over in the East Boston stepped out in front opening week and hasn’t looked back. They loaded up stripping a lot of the minors early to get some win now players and it has been paying dividends. Baltimore after leading the East all last season is now looking to win enough to get into the WC. Currently they are a game back from the Royals if the season ended today for the WC birth.
Tampa, Toronto and the Yanks are just treading water looking for a draft pick and allowing other teams to pad their wins.
Over in the Central, once again it is the Twinkie show, though the Royals are showing they are for real. After seasons of rebuilding, the Royals are flat out just killing it this season, but they cant let up for a moment, lest they get robbed of the wild card position by the Oriels or… worse let the Tigers overtake them.
Cleveland and the White Sox are padding other team stats.
Out in the West, Seattle is just rolling and rolling, making it look easy. Even though Oakland is having a dang good year, it’s not even close enough to make it close, though they are in the running for the Wild Card.
The Angels are looking horrible and really need to do something so they are not excluded from the top 3 spots in the draft.
