Hot sauce alert, the Braves are on FIRE. Going five and one on the week, these guys are just sizzling, including putting up twenty runs in a game, that featured only one homer!
The week started with an eight nuthin affair versus the Cards and finished with a five to four win over the Dodgers. The lone loss was to the same dodger the day before in an extra inning game where J Roach took the loss after the Braves burned through their MR studs in a little over an inning of work.
In an unusual schedule, the Braves faced three teams for a total of two games each, on the week. They won both against the Cards, and the Pirates, but split versus the Dodgers. The two to start the week versus the Cards were the last two games of a three game series that they took out the brooms to get a sweep.
