Braves 2008 OD the Batters
He braves fans, common out to the ballpark and root on the Braves batters. In the off season the Braves picked up the BIG bat of Carlos Lee hoping that he will eventually replace Obando in LF, but for the time being will bat cleanup as the DH. One of the things the Braves staff loved about Lee is his ability to take second bas for free, so if he ever gets a hit, it is like a double.
They say speed kills and the Braves have some speed on the team. Joining Lee in the pursuit of speed are utility IF Cabrera, 3B Edgar Renteria, SS Alex Sanchez, and CF Roger Cedeno. Alex and Roger could both easily swipe 70-100 bases a year with their speed.
Guys that could go yard 30 times this season are Cedeno, Obando, Lee, Sanchez, and Ojeda. Sanchez and Cedeno could legit be 30/30 guys, and Atlanta looks forward to their play for the next 5 seasons together!
