There isn't much new to report regarding the farm system for May. It was an unusually quiet month, normally filled with talent boosts and dumps alike. There was absolutely no activity as far as major dumps and it has been curiously quiet regarding the much anticipated talent improvements that we were told to watch for during the last report.
Rumor has it that there has been a shipping problem with the performance enhancing points but the league expects them to arrive with the holiday shipment which also brings the special performance enhancing egg nog.
We can report that SP Zach Kroenke is expected to return to AAA in the next 3 weeks. He will be eligible to come off the DL as soon as he is cleared by doctors. Cameron Rupp had successful surgery to repair his torn Achilles and is looking forward to being able to slowly getting back to baseball activities over the next several weeks and months. Lorenzo Cain and Neil Walker both have been dinged up a little bit over the last month but it has been nothing more than a day-to-day issue.
While this month's report was sparce, we have every reason to believe that the next Farm Report will be full of news of a plentiful harvest.
