Just before the trade deadline on the 31st, Pittsburgh and LA reached a deal to bring highly touted starting pitcher to Pittsburgh for the Pirates 1st round pick, a second, 2 3rds, Jason Heyward and Marwin Gonzalez.

Wade carries a AAA ERA of 1.90 into the last 3rd if the season but the Pirates have already stated he will finish the season at AAA and come up with Kroenke in the spring.
