Braves fans, they started the season with a 8 and 6 record, and the past week they went 3 and 3 to bring the season to a record of 11 and 9. They lost the first two games of the week to the Cards, then picked up a couple wins vs the Mets, and then in game three of that series they went with driving in no runs and getting blanked by the mets.
only to finalize the series with a one nothing shutout. It was a complete game shutout by Bud Smith bringing his record on the season to 2 and 2. His amazing pitching overshadowed SP Cornejo for the mets, who through eight innings did not give up a run either. For the game the braves batted an anemic .250 but that was better than the Mets hitting 0.161 for the game.
