Braves 5/24
Braves fans, going into the week, for the season they have a record of 21 and 20. Currently the East Leading Phillies were 33 and 8 . On the week the Braves went Six and oh, bringing their record to 27 and 20 and the Phillies went five and one climbing to 38 and 9. leaving the Braves 11 games behind.
Before the week started Skipper sat down and made several lineup changes and it seemed to really work as not only did they bounce back from their worst week, they actually had their best hitting week.
While 4 of the games were against the Dodgers and the Padres, two were against the West leading DBacks, bot were one run wins in pitching duels, but the bats provided just enough.
The highlight of the week was Pedro taking a shutout into the 9th, and Valverde coming on to preserve the 2 run shutout getting his sixth save of the year.
