Braves fans, going into the week, for the season they have a record of 42 and 25. Currently the East Leading Phillies were 53 and 14. On the week the Braves went five and two, bringing their record to 47 and 27 and the Phillies went seven and oh climbing to 60 and 14. leaving the Braves 13 games behind.
The week started suckin butt as they lost on the road to the rockies, but then they swung into LA and took two games from the Dodgers. The first was a 12 nuthin pounding, and followed it up with a 10 to 5 win.
A three game series vs the padres came next at home, and the Padres won the first game.
The week before the Allstar game finished with beating the DBacks. The Braves won 6 to 1 riding a masterpiece of pitching by bud smith, picking up his 14th win of the season.
