Braves 7/12
Braves fans, going into the week, for the season they have a record of 47 and 27. Currently the East Leading Phillies were 60 and 14. On the week the Braves went four and two, bringing their record to 51 and 29 and the Phillies went four and two climbing to 64 and 16. leaving the Braves 13 games behind.
Game one was a loss in Florida where the bats didn’t score any runs, which usually means it is a loss. Cant win if you don’t score.
Game 2 was a win vs the fish to split the two game series. Rupe went the distance and got his 13th win of the season.
Games 3 and 4 were wins over the Mets, however game 5 the Mets won.
The week wrapped up with back to back wins vs the Reds in the first two games of a 3 game series.
