Braves 7/27
Braves fans, going into the week, for the season they have a record of 57 and 31. Currently the East Leading Phillies were 70 and 18. On the week the Braves went six and oh, bringing their record to 63 and 31 and the Phillies went four and two climbing to 74 and 20. leaving the Braves 11 games behind.
Since the line up changes the Braves are red hot with a 42 and 11 record. Skipper should have made some changes sooner.
This week featured a sweep of the Rockies in Denver, followed by a sweep of the first three games of a four game series vs the Dodgers at home. None of the 6 games were pitcher duels with the bats coming alive for 44 runs over all, and only one game did they score fewer than 7 runs, and that was the 14 inning affair vs the dodgers that they scored 6.
