A little late for the final write-up but the data isn't changing.
In the AL the hope of spring turned into the reality of fall but Jeter cruised to the AL crown with Pedroia finishing second. You can read, I won't insult your intelligence. Jones and Rollins couldn't break the tie between them and we will have to wait until 2009 to settle that dispute. Taveras and Pierre end the season deadlocked at 71 and that should be fun to watch next year, as well. Old man Suzuki popped back into the top 10 but couldn't quite get to the nice round number of 60. Congratulations to the Twins and Jeter who deserves so much better than a lottery pick hahaha. Detroit ends the year with 3 top 10 base thiefs.

In the NL the season ended with what looks to be a little more reasonable spread between the AL and the NL. If you take Jeter out of the equation, there is still a notiecable difference, I said it just looks more reasonable. Congratulations to the Cubbies and Shane Victorino for his NL SB crown. Atlanta finished the season with 3 top 10 base stealers.
