Braves 9/22
Braves fans, going into the week, for the season they have a record of 96 and 45. Currently the East Leading Phillies were 109 and 32. On the week the Braves went three and three, bringing their record to 99 and 48 and the Phillies went five and one climbing to 114 and 33. leaving the Braves 13 games behind.
Almost laughable that the Braves only needing four wins to get to 100, got three. Just how the season has gone. Even with having the second best record in the NL and 4th in the league, they find new ways every week to be a joke.
Started the week being humiliated by the Cards scoring none while giving up 5, and ended the week being spanked in back to back games by the DBacks in that two game series.
The pitching duel of the week was Pedro versus Grienke in StL, where Pedro got his 15th win and Valverde got his 39th save.
