Braves fans, Atlanta finished 17 games back of the Phillies with just a paltry 109 wins. While they were the only other 100 win team in the NL, lets face it they sucked.
After starting the season 21 and 20, they rattled off the record of 88 and 33, even that pace was not close to the pace the Phillies had all season long.
The last week of the season, was similar to the beginning, and just inspires no hope heading into the playoffs. Against good teams they are just a tease, while pounding on the rest. They are like the a football team that claims to be Americas team, but is nothing more than Americas Tease!
Well now that the chip are set, we shall see what the magic of the playoffs brings the Braves, could it be as magical as last season?
