It seems like just yesterday that we were moaning and groaning about 2008 and here it is 2009 already and we are trying to figure out what the team is going to look like. Dexter Fowler got the big B in HR during the file flip but Santa left a Suarez hit downgrade to average, soon to be fixed.
What we know:
Kroenke and Wade will be making their debut in the starting rotation. Howell and Broadway will be joining the bullpen. Trumbo most likely needs to cook in the minors for another season to grow into his K talent. Andy Dirks will not be called up in 2009 but most likely will make his debut in 2010.
What we aren't sure of yet:
Pretty much everything else. Will Elliot Johnson make his debut this season? Should I call Dexter Fowler up in light of his new talent or wait for him to grow into it? What free agents should we sign to compliment our basket of prospects? We know we don't have to worry about any ghosts this Christmas, but if I lose sleep, it will be over these decision....tough life. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.
