Braves Offseason pt 1
On advice of Braves part time Sr Talent manager, he immortal Julio Cruz, the Braves traded for San Diego 2nd baseman Argenis Reyes.
Julio has been watching tape of players all last season and thinks he sees something special in the kid. He noticed some bad habbits at the plate he thinks he can correct, and since the trade in OTAs with him he is already looking way better at the plate.
Reyes already has shown exceptional ability for reading pitchers in his time in the league, add to it his drop dead speed, if he gets hes hitting on track he will become an elite leadoff bat for the Braves.
At only 26 years old, he should have a long long career leading off in the Braves lineup. We here in the booth are hoping that Julio is correct in what he sees in this youngster, time will tell.
