Braves Offseason part two
On advice of Braves part time Sr Talent manager, he immortal Julio Cruz, the Braves traded for Cleveland SS Jason Kipnis.
Like Reyes Kipnis has a great deal of ability on the basepath and speed so Julio is also planning on working with Jason oh his ability in the batting Box.
Jason is a little more raw that Reyes, but there is hope with his youth that he can develop along with Desmond Jennings and be ready for the majors in 1 to 2 more seasons. If they develop in time, it could lead to a brave team that could be one of the fastest ever, as the Braves currently have Sanches, Lee, Cedeno, and Renteria on the team that all steal over 50 a season. Adding Reyes, Jennings and Kipnis would put the team in the range to have 400 steals on a season.
Time will tell if this is a legit strategy.
