Braves Offseason part three
Well how about some FA signing news. Atlanta brought in the big bat of Mr Shawn Green to add to the power the team already has. Sherman Obanto retired last season leaving a hole in the teams lineup.
Carlos lee will slide from the DH to play Left, and Mr Green will become the day to day DH. With Reyes coming in to play the IF, Aaron Boone will become the day to day sub for the team.
Aaron can play first, second, third and short, so his bat will be able to give everyone needed days off, as well as letting Green have a day off if he needs one.
Skip was extremely pleased Green signed the deal so early and was pretty shocked when the Braves got him on a two year deal.
Could this signing be the only signing the Brave make this offseason? Time will tell.
