2009 NL All Stars
Hey Atlanta fans, we had 4 players nominated to play in the summer classic that pits the best with the Best, but not only that let us look at who all made it.
These players were selected for the NL HOFFBL-Allstar Team : The Pitchers: P Oliver Perez from St. Louis P Charlie A. Morton from Chicago (N) P Odalis Perez from Arizona P Ryan Rupe from Atlanta P Brad Radke from Philadelphia P Chan Ho Park from Arizona P Chris R. Young from Philadelphia P Dewon Brazelton from Chicago (N) P Jose Valverde from Atlanta P Grant Balfour from Houston
The Batters: C Carlos Ruiz from Philadelphia C Brian Schneider from St. Louis 1B Prince Fielder from Arizona 2B Jose Vidro from San Francisco 3B Albert Pujols from St. Louis SS Alex Sanchez from Atlanta LF Matt Kemp from Philadelphia CF Vernon Wells from Arizona RF Scott Podsednik from Arizona 1B Shawn Green from Atlanta RF Luke Scott from Chicago (N) CF Carlos Beltran from Chicago (N) LF Paul Goldschmidt from Arizona SS Troy Tulowitzki from Colorado SS J.J. Hardy from Philadelphia
So the counts are Philly with four, Dbacks with six, the Giants with only one, the cubs with four, StL with three, and the only other team was Colorado with one. Really surprised the Phillies only had four with how stacked their team is, but maybe this is the DBack year.
Nice to see the rookie in Zona make the list, that kid is gonna be amazing for a long time. He should be the NL rookie of the year.
