Braves 8/16
August is still the time of year Braves fans, to continue coming back to the ballpark! Let us look at the week in review once again.
This week the games went like this:
8/8 The Braves hit the road after the past horrible homestand and were up in DC to face the Senators. The game was who could score the fewest runs, and Washington proved it was them. Braves scored first in the 3rd, and it stayed that way until Rupe gave up a run in the 8th, his only blemish on 9 innings of hard work. Both teams scored a run in the 12th, as no one wanted to go home, and what better way to keep everyone in the stadium than have another 3 innings of baseball. In the top of the 15th the Braves scored again to take the lead, and the rest was history. Braves were 4 of 6 on the basepaths and Reyes got his 61st.

The Braves' offensive efforts were led by Reyes, who had an impressive performance with 3 hits, including a double.
