2010 Draft Lottery

As per new rules, the bottom 6 teams will be placed into an NBA-style draft lottery.

The bottom 6 teams for the 2010 draft are:

1. SDG (19 wins)
2. CIN (35 wins)
3. KCR (35 wins)
4. MIN (43 wins)
5. NYA (45 wins)
6. LAA (53 wins)

Base combinations are:

1. SDG - 350 out of 1,000
2. CIN - 200 out of 1,000
3. KCR - 200 out of 1,000
4. MIN - 100 out of 1,000
5. NYA - 80 out of 1,000
6. LAA - 70 out of 1,000

Reductions:
- win less than 30 - 100% reduction - SDG
- win less than 40 - 75% reduction - CIN & KCR
- win less than 50 - 50% reduction - MIN & NYA
- win less than 60 - 25% reduction - LAA

- had #1 pick last season - 50% reduction - MIN (stacked on 50% reduction means 75% total reduction)
- had #1 pick past 2 seasons - 100% reduction - N/A, it was MIN in 2009 and LAA in 2008

Revised combinations are:

1. SDG - 0 out of 1,000 ... other 350 are unassigned
2. CIN - 50 out of 1,000 ... other 150 are unassigned
3. KCR - 50 out of 1,000 ... other 150 are unassigned
4. MIN - 25 out of 1,000 ... other 75 are unassigned
5. NYA - 40 out of 1,000 ... other 40 are unassigned
6. LAA - 53 out of 1,000 ... other 17 are unassigned

Actual chances:

1. SDG - 0.0%
2. CIN - 22.9%
3. KCR - 22.9%
4. MIN - 11.5%
5. NYA - 18.3%
6. LAA - 24.3%

Just like last season, since I'm among the lottery teams, it would be more appropriate if someone else runs the random number generator.
