Monday 7/18/2010: New York (N)'s Huff wins Player of the Week award
The Player of the Week award in the American League goes to Seattle's Mike B. Young this time, as the shortstop displayed the best offensive perfomance in his league. Mike B. pounded opposing pitchers, hitting .556 with 3 HR and 10 RBI while slugging .963. He got at least one hit each game this week and is on a 8 game hitting streak right now. Aubrey Huff from New York (N) wins his 4th Player of the Week award for putting up the best numbers this week in the National League. Huff helped his team with an average of .565 and 10 RBI in 23 at bats.

LOS ANGELES (N) - Los Angeles (N)'s southpaw Joe Kennedy suffered a severe injury on Sunday and will be out for at least 5-6 weeks. In the 2nd of the game against San Francisco he experienced pain in his throwing arm and had to leave the game. After being taken to a local hospital, Kennedy was examined by specialists.
