I would vote for wins but also look deeper for the following
- top successful teams. Likely winners but if someone had an insane rebuild id consider
- did they make changes? follow a plan? Or make some good trades to get there (activity)

I had second most wins in the AL and didn’t even make the final 3 vote. Don’t see me in here crying.
I’ve made moves to supplement my team and fill holes due to injury. Don’t see me in here crying.
It’s a fun vote, that’s all. Sure I’d like to win it sometime just for fun but it’s open to how each individual views it and sometimes that means you come up with peanuts.
