June 18, Atlanta in Canada to play the Blue Jays. Ray was on the mound for the Braves facing holiday for the Blue Jays. This was a pitching duel. Atlanta scored first in the top of the fourth. But then Toronto tied it up in the bottom of the fifth. And that’s how it stayed until the 10th inning. Rupe went nine innings only gave up two hits no walks however the Blue Jays scored to run. He did get the win to improve to 95 on the season and lowers the ERA to 2.14. Sedeno hit a solo shot in the top of the 10th to be the deciding run. San, Jennings, and Guerrero all had stolen bases.
June 19, the last game of the Toronto series. Both teams had won one and Bud Smith was going against Jimenez for the Blue Jays. Through the first 5 1/2 innings it was scoreless however, Toronto broke that tie with two runs in the bottom of the sixth. The Braves rallied for three in the top of the seventh go up 3 to 2, but then it was dashed with the tying in the bottom of the seventh. one more run was taught scored in the top of the eighth and with that run Bud Smith improved his record to nine and six. Valverde came on to get his 18th saved of the season.
June 20 the Rockies came to Atlanta. Markham was on the mound for the Rockies gone against Alvarez for the Braves. June 21 game two of the Rockies at Atlanta. Granny was on the mound for the Rockies facing Dickie for the Braves. Dickie went 72/3 innings and only gave up one run. With that he picked up his seventh one of the season to improve to seven and three on the season. Braves won walking away with this one 8 to 1 on the seat on the night. 59,148 fans came out to Atlanta Fulton county stadium to see the win.

June 25, Atlanta, still in the bay area. Alvarez was facing Bumgarner for the Giants. After nine innings, it was 5 to 5. The Braves scored for those on the top of the sixth. Valverde got the win. Sedeno, Lee, and Green all had Home runs. Reyes and Guerrero had stolen bases. However, Reyes was thrown out, trying to steal a base and so the Braves were only two for three on the day.
June 6 Atlanta was still in the bay area playing the Giants. Dickie for the Braves was on the mound facing Kane for the Giants. Early on San Fran look like it was gonna run away with this because they were up to nothing after three innings. The Braves, however, rallied for seven more runs to end up walking away with the game, with the final of 7 to 3. Dick got the win, and now is eight and three on the season and slightly lowered his ERA to 3.66 on the season.
June 27 Atlanta, then went south in California from the bay area to take on the Padres in San Diego. Harden was on the mound facing off against cold for the Padres. Harden got the wind only allowing one earned run over his 7 2/3 innings to improve his record to 12 and four. Valverde came on and got the save his 21st for the season. Reyes, Sedeno, and Perez, all had home runs in the game. Jennings, Perez, and sedan with two all had Solen bases.
June 29, Atlanta versus San Diego in San Diego. Bud Smith was going against Del La Russa for the Padres. This game was all Atlanta. The Braves walk away with a seven to one win. Chris Lee had the only stolen base in the game.
June 30, the last game of the second half of June for the Braves. Braves won 62 over the Padres. Alvarez was facing off against some guy for the Padres. Alvarez went nine innings only allowing two runs and proved his record to nine and six. And lowered his ERA to 3.32.
