Cubs send OF-Lenny Green, SP-Mike Garcia, OF-Shinichi Eto (AAA), UT-Bob Johnson (AAA) and P-Gary Waslewski to the Sens in exchange for SP-Steve Blass (A) and SP-Don Newcombe.

Not sure if this is a good deal or not. I got Blass, a guy I coveted on draft day and that I don't have to protect in upcoming expansion draft without giving up anyone in my long term plans. Newcombe has pitched much better lately so maybe he'll give us a boost. Green hasn't put up the numbers I need from a starting corner OF after being an OBP/doubles machine last year. He was going to get squeezed out shortly anyway.

Put Blass in my A rotation. Put Newcombe in rotation as 5th starter and change my rotation to 5 man for now. Move Sawatski to 2nd in lineup vs righties and put Wilson in as my LF in Sawatski's spot in the lineup (7th)

I approve. Please please all of the minor leaguers at their respective levels. Place Lenny Green on the ML Roster in LF and send Oravetz back to AAA. 

Please place Garcia in the Starting Rotation. Make it:

2. Garcia
3. Grossman
4. Freeman
5. Pascual

Call up Gomez and send down Mauriello. Place Gomez is the Pen in Middle Relief with Pappas and move Sheldon into the Set Up role with Oldham.
