Bro you have negative cash your bids are invalid lol I have money left for free agents? Believe the rules state that if your at a negative cash balance your not aloud to add any salary in any way free agency or trade until you correct the negative balance. Just to try to clarify here.

From the constitution:
"Any team that ends up with a negative cash balance after the File Flip will go on probation for that season, where they will be unable to take on any additional salary through trades or waivers. Teams may have free agency monies available, and are not restricted from signing free agents if they so choose; however, note that if the team has negative cash and chooses to spend money in free agency, it means that getting out of the red will be made that much more difficult. Teams may be removed from probation immediately upon correcting their financial situation. Should an team be placed on probation for a second consecutive season or three (3) times in a five (5) season span with a negative cash balance after the file flip, the team's owner may be subject to termination."

I’ve always thought this too but the rule actually lets you ONLY add via FA
