April 19, Milwaukee came to town and the Brewers were taking on the Braves. Harden got the start for the Braves and he went the distance only allowing a single earned run to improve to two and one on the season. The Braves did not hit any homers in the game as this was a very tight pitching duel. And only Jones had a stolen base. Both teams had six hits the differences. The Brewers only scored one with theirs and the Braves scored two. 49,361 fans came out to Atlanta Fulton County Stadium to see this very tight pitching dual game.
April 20, gain two of the Brewers Braves series. This time it was Bud Smith that went out in a pitching duel against Chavez for the Brewers. Carrie would got the start for the Braves went 7 2/3 innings and even though he got shellacked allowing six runs he still got the win to improve the two and one on the season. The Braves bats just pounded. The Rockies scoring 17 runs on 20 hits. Reyes, Sanchez, Lee, and Call had Home runs for the Braves. And with that much scoring, the Braves didn’t even bother, trying to steal any bases.
April 22 another game between the Rockies and the Braves. Myers got to start for the Braves. He went six innings and even though we gave up five runs that was enough for the Braves to get the win and he improved the three and a oh on the season. Eventually came on the sixth season. Two runs in the game one in the first inning and one in the third inning. Reyes, Kipnis, Rob, and Jones all has stolen bases.
April 23, Braves still playing the Rockies play. Alvarez was on the mound for the Braves. He went eight innings and allowed three ear runs to pick up his second win of the season two even his record at two and two. Val Varity came on and got a seventh of the season. Kearns had a second homer of the season for the Braves. Sanchez picked up a stolen base. Even though the Braves only had one more hit than the Rockies they scored three more runs in the win.
April 24, Chicago in town to take on the Braves. The Cubs pitcher scores and Laney only lasted four 2/3 innings facing Rich Harden. Rich went 7 2/3 innings only allowing three hits no runs. The Braves manage scored two runs in the bottom of the third, and that was the only scoring in the game. Harden picked up his third win of the season and his ERA dropped to 0.79. Reyes, Jennings, Lee, and Jones all had Solen bases. 47,441 fans came out to Atlanta Fulton County Stadium to see the Braves beat the Cubs.

Cubs batters still had nothing against the Braves and for the third straight game. They were shut out. Carrie picked up his third win of the season. Reyes, Lise, and Lee all has stolen bases in the game. 49,358 fans came out to Atlanta Fulton County Stadium to see the Braves shut out the Break cubs once again.
April 27 the Braves went for the four game sweep of the Cubs and got it. Myers was on the mound for the Braves and he pitched pretty dang good only allowing a single urn run in seven innings pitch. All total in 36 innings the Cubs only managed to score a single run against the Braves. Had a home run his third of the season in the game. Jones had a stolen base. 50,039 fans came out to Atlanta Folden county Stadium to see the Braves win.
All total for the month of April the Braves went 16 and six. This was not a bad record however they were trailing the Mets.
