LOS ANGELES (N) - Great days are rare. But not for Los Angeles (N)'s right-hander Felipe Paulino. Colorado found out the hard way that he is among the leagues top pitchers, getting just 2 hits. It's his 2nd shutout this season, and the 9th time he has done it in his career. 'They took some ugly cuts at my breaking stuff, so I kept throwing it. Fortunately they were not able to adjust in time.' Paulino (7-2) showed excellent control, walking nobody and fanning 3. The hitting star for Los Angeles (N) was designated hitter Jeff Francoeur, he finished 2 for 4, homering twice, scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 runs. Danks (8-8) fanned 9 and walked none, throwing 92 pitches. 'Today I just felt fine. I had a good feeling while warming up.'
