June 17 Atlanta in Baltimore to take on the Orioles. Myers took him out for the Braves and never looked back. He went the distance nine innings and only allowed one earned run improving to eight and four on the season. The Braves bats scored seven runs on 13 hits as they didn’t look back and allowed Myers to cruise to victory.Jacobson and Jennings both had home runs. Lise and Lee both had stolen bases with Lee having two of them himself.
June 18, Atlanta still in Baltimore taking on the Orioles. Alvarez was on the mound for the Braves went the distance, allowing three Aaron drones in the nine innings. Jennings and Adams both had home runs in the game. Jennings, Lee, canis, and Adams all had stolen bases.
Thursday, June 19, Atlanta going for the sweep against the Orioles in Baltimore. Pardon took them out for the Braves and it was one of his worst games ever giving up five earned runs and eight innings pitches, he still got the win to improve on the season. Varity came in in the ninth to secure the Nguyen with his 20 seconds of the season. Lise, Jennings, Lee, Sanchez, Jones, Adams, and Rob all had stolen bases. Jennings, Lee, and Sanchez both had two stolen bases in the game. For the game the Braves were 10 stolen bases out of 12 attempts. The Braves swept the Orioles in their one series this year with this win.
June 20, Atlanta Detroit and it was all Braves. Atlanta scored 13 runs on 20 hits. Detroit managed to score a single run on four hits. Bud Smith got the start for the Braves went nine innings, allowing the one earned run to improve to 12 and two on the season. Surprisingly with all those run scored the Braves did not hit a single Homerun. Reyes, Lise, and Lee all had stolen bases as the Braves destroyed the tigers.
June 23, continued to be up by the Great Lakes taking on the Milwaukee Brewers. Alvarez got the start for the Braves going 6 2/3 innings and got a no decision as he allowed four runs, three of them are earned. Balty came on to get the last few to pick up his 23rd of the season. Jennings had a home run in the sixth inning to lead it off. Jennings, Sanchez, and Jones all had stolen bases.
Tuesday, June 24, another game between Atlanta and Milwaukee in Milwaukee. For the Braves Rich Harden took the mound and went and 2/3 innings and didn’t have a stellar performance as he allowed three earn runs, but it was good enough to win the game to improve his record to 11 and two on the season as the Braves scored nine runs on 12 hits in his support. Sanchez and Rob had Home runs. Jennings and Jones had stolen bases.
June 25, another game with Atlanta up in Milwaukee to take on the Brewers. Bud Smith got the start for the Braves went 7 2/3 innings allowing to earn runs to improve his record to 13 and two as he got the win. The Braves bats scored nine runs. Reyes and Jones had stolen bases for the Braves.
June 26, Atlanta is now in Miami to take on the Marlins. This was a tight pitch game as it was scoreless heading into the top of the sixth inning. Carrie would was pulled after 5 2/3 inning only allowing two hits which is kind of a scratcher. But it was good enough to get him the win as the Braves had scored one in the top of the six so he exited the game up nothing. he is now 11 and two on the season. Buck came on for one and 2/3 innings and did not allow a single run. Val Verity came on and closed out. The game up is 24th of the season. The Braves did not hit any home, runs, And Lee and Adams had stolen bases. The reason would didn’t go further is because he picked up a minor injury while pitching.
Friday, June 27, Atlanta still playing the Marlins in Miami. Myers got the start for the Braves and he got all the run sport that could want. The Braves scored 11 runs on 16 hits. Wasn’t a great outing for him allowing four rounds he still picked up the win and improved to nine and five on the season. Jacobson and Jennings had home runs for the Braves. Reyes, Lise, and Jennings had stolen bases. Jennings and Lise each had two apiece. For the game the Braves were five or six and stolen bases.
June 28, Marlins and Braves again. This one was all braves as they scored eight runs on 11 hits and did not allow a single run. Alvarez for the Braves came on and got his complete game shut out, allowing only four hits in the nine endings pitched. With the win, he improved a nine and five on the season. Jacobson, Sanchez, Lee, and Adams all had Home runs for the Braves. Lee is the only one to have a stolen base for the Braves, and two of their guys got thrown out, trying to steal.
June 29, the fourth game between Atlanta and Miami and Atlanta was going for the suite of the series. Harden took the mound went 7 1/3 innings only allowing one unearned run. Val came on and got his 25th saved the season. And is now 12 and two on the season. Sanchez, and Jennings had home runs. Reyes had two stolen bases and Kearns had one as the Braves went three for six stolen bases in the game.
The Braves were 21 and 5 for the month.
