April 26, the last game of the Atlanta New York Mets series and the Braves got the sweep. This was a pitching duel that ended with a combined three run scored, and only two by the Victoria braves. Smith was on the mound and for whatever reason, he only went five innings, probably because of the rain delay. He only allowed four hits and one earned run unearned run. Valveri got to save his seventh of the season. Jones, gentry, Utley, Lise, and Harrison with two had stolen bases. All in all the aforementioned went 606 for stealing bases. With the win, the Braves completed a four game sweep.
April 27 Atlanta travel to Miami take on the hapless Marlins. The Braves scored 10 runs on tin heads as they defeated the Marlins by eight. Harden was on the mound for the Braves only allowing two runs and it wasn’t amazing showing it allowed him to climb to three and two on the season. Reyes, gentry, Utley, Jennings with two, and kittens with two had stolen bases as they went seven of seven on the game with swiping bases.
April 28 game two of the Braves Marlins series in Miami. The Marlins did better in this one however their bats did not show up. For the Braves when eight innings, not allowing a single earned or unearned run and Valverde came in on the ninth to get his eighth save. The Braves did not give much Support as they only scored two runs but it was enough to get the win. April 29, game two I mean game three of the Miami versus Atlantis series down in Miami. Alvarez was on the mound for the Braves and he was spectacular as he pitched a complete game shut out, only allowing nine hits in nine innings in one walk. With the win, he improved to three and one on the season. The Marlin pitching was not so great as they allowed seven runs on 14 hits. Reyes, canis, and Adams has stolen bases in the game.
April 30, Atlanta still in Miami taking on the Marlins looking for a four game suite. Wood was on the mound for the Braves and even though he did not have a good game he pitched well enough to get the win. And 7 1/3 innings, he allowed four runs, but that was good enough to improve to four and oh on the season. Eventually came on in the ninth to get the save and save the season. The Braves actually had two home runs in this game, which is amazing considering to this point, they only have seven. Lee, and Lise both had home runs.
