Twins send 3B Albert Pujols, SP Cliff Lee and 50 points to the Cardinals for IF Murphy and CL Reyes.
In a surprising move the Cardinals traded for long time fan favorite Albert Pujols. Albert Pujols coming off back to back World Series Championships with the Twins has rejoined his old club where he spent his first 12 seasons with. Albert Pujols has started the seaon off hot with the Cardinals slashing .315 with 15 homeruns and a .400 OBP.
GM Stoolfan stated that he is happy to bring back future HOF Albert Pujols to lead the club and mentor his young hitters. GM Stooolfan did comment that most likely since the Twins traded for Murphy he will resign for 6 years at 500k like all the other expensive players that he trades for
