May 10, the LA Dodgers in town to take on the Atlanta Braves, and this was a pitching duel. Alvarez got the start for the Braves went 7 2/3 innings only allowing three hits, but one of them was a Homerun. And came on and got the win in the bottom of the 10th. The Braves scored tied the game back up in the bottom of the ninth. Both teams only had three hits, but the Braves man scored two runs on there three. Jennings had a stolen base for the Braves, that was it. All of the Braves were doubles and that was the difference. 64,974 fans came out to Atlanta Fulton county Stadium to see this defensive struggle.
May 11th, Atlanta in Milwaukee to take on the brew crew. Got the start for the Braves when 8 2/3 innings only allowing one earned run and got the win to improve to five and one on the season. Valveri came on got to save for 12th of the season., Jennings, two, Adams, Lise, Kearns, and Harrison all had stolen bases for the Braves. The Braves were eight of nine stealing bases in the game. This one again was a nailbiter as the Braves one by single run and only scored two runs.
May 12, game two of the Braves versus Brewers series in Milwaukee. Bud Smith got the start for the Braves wasn’t his greatest game as he gave up three earned runs an eight inning pitch but it was good enough to improve to eight and oh on the season. Got the same pitching a perfect ninth inning. Reyes, Lise, and Harrison all had stolen bases.
May 13, Atlanta still in Milwaukee take on the Brewers. Harden got the star for the Braves won eight and the third inning only allowing a single earned run. Oley, Adams, Harrison all had stolen bases. The Braves tried to give this game away as the defenders had four errors.
May 15, Philadelphia Atlanta taking on the Braves. Tom Gores for the Braves had a no no. Complete game shut out without allowing a single hit. With the win, he improves to six and oh on the season. The Braves again had three errors in the game. Jones, Utley and Kitt all had stolen bases. 64,999 fans came out to Atlanta Fulton county Stadium to see this spectacular game. Braves scored two runs two hits.
May 18, Atlanta in Pittsburgh to take on the Pirates. Bud Smith got injured early in this game after only 1.1 innings pitched. Myers ended up getting the win and already got the save. Reyes, gentry, Jennings, and Harrison all had stolen bases. Adams had a home run and the third inning.
May 19, Atlanta taking on the Pirates. Harden took the mound for the Braves never left as he only allowed to earned runs on nine hits. With the wind, he improved to six and two on the season. The Braves scored six runs on eight hits. Kipnis, Lise, and Harrison all had stolen bases.
May 21, the Miami Marlins travel to Atlanta to take on the Braves. Alvarez got the start for the Braves. He went 7 2/3 inning only allowing a single hit. With the win, he improved to five and two on the season. Val came on for the ninth inning and got his 15th save of the season. Lola had two stolen bases however, two other Braves were caught stealing so the Braves were only 404 I mean 204 on the game. Had a homer in the sixth inning a two run shot. 63,045 fans came out to Atlanta Fullman county Stadium to see the wind .

May 23 Miami still taking on the Braves. This one was a slug fest and the Braves outlasted the Marlins. SEC started for the Braves and got pounded allowing six rounds in eight innings pitch. The Braves however, runs to secure the win. Jennings had a home run in the game for the Braves. Jones, gentry, and Harrison with two all had stolen bases in the game. 64,975 fans came out to Fulton Stadium to see the win.
May 24, Miami in town in Atlanta going for a four game sweep. Harden was on the mount for the Braves did not have a particularly good game however the braves bats bailed them out with no decision on the game. We had a home run in the game his sixth season.
