May 27, Atlanta in Colorado taking on the Rockies. Would got to start for the Braves, but he allowed three ear runs and that was not good enough to get them out of the jam. It went into extra innings. Thankfully, the Braves scored one run the top of the ninth tied up and send it there. Ended up getting the win in the 11th inning. Utley and Adams both had stolen bases in the game. Kearns and Rob had Home runs for the Braves. Both of them were two run shots. Current Home run in the 11th inning was the difference in the game.
May 28, another game between the Braves and the Rockies in Colorado and this one was all Braves as they scored nine runs and 1115 hits. Was on the mound in relief for the injured Smith and he got the win going 8 2/3 innings and only allowing one earned run. we had a home run for the Braves. Gentry, Jennings, Utley, and Call had stolen bases.
May 29 the Royals are in Atlanta to take on the Braves. Harden was on the mound for the Braves went 8 2/3 innings not allowing a single earned run as he improved his seven and two on the season. Valverde came on to get the last out and his 17th save the season. Lise had a stolen base for the Braves as they scored two runs on four hits and shut out the Royals. 64,978 fans came out to Atlanta Fulton county Stadium to see this nailbiter.
May 30 another game between the Royals and the Braves in Atlanta. Tom Gore had a brilliant game pitching 7 2/3 innings without giving up an earned run or run. However, that was not good enough to get him a win that did not happen until the Braves scored a run in the bottom of the 10th inning because, Verity blew the save in the ninth inning. 62,382 fans came out to Atlanta county Stadium to see the win.
June 2 Atlanta was in Houston taking on the Astros. Wood was on the mound and he pitched a complete game shut out as he improved his seven and two on the season. Gentry, Jennings with two, and Lise had stolen bases. Had a Homerun in the sixth inning.
June 3 another game with Atlanta in Houston. Myers is on the mound again while Smith is out injured and he went 8 2/3 innings only allowing a single earned run. Billy came on to get his 18th. Harden was on the mound and again he went 8 2/3 inning without giving up an earned run and Valverde had to come on for a third of the inning to get his 19th save. Harden is now eight and two on the season after starting one and two. Jones, gentry with two, and Lise had stolen bases.
June 5 the White Sox were in town to take on the Braves in Atlanta. Tom Gore was on the mound for the Braves and he went eight and third innings only allowing one ear run and prove to seven and one on the season. Variety came on to get the last two outs to get us 20th save. Reyes, Jones, gentry, Jennings, and Harrison all had stolen bases in the game. 64,967 fans came out to Atlanta Fulton county Stadium to see the Braves beat the White Sox.
