Braves end of July beginning of August.
July 17 the Yankees are in town taking on the Braves Gs was on the mound for the Braves. Went 7 2/3 innings on two earned runs and got no decision. Valverde came on in the ninth inning and picked up his 31st of the season. Reyes, Jones, Lise, and Adams all had stolen bases. 64,977 fans came out to Atlanta county Stadium to see the Braves win
July 19, Yankee still in town taking on the Braves. Went to the mountain for the Braves never left and got a complete game shut out to improve to 13 and three on the season. Had a home run in the second inning. Lise and Adams had stolen bases. 64,980 fans came out to Atlanta county Stadium to see the Breed Braves blank the Yankees.
July 20 Atlanta in Canada taking on the Toronto Blue Jays. Bud Smith got injured early didn’t even get an out and then it became a pitching by committee game all in all the Braves only allowed one earned run. Val Verde came on for the ninth. They need to get his 30 seconds saved. Reyes, Utley, Kiffness all had two stolen bases.
July 22, Atlanta still taking the Blue Jays in Toronto. Gs was on the mount for the Braves went seven innings allowed to earn runs to improve to 13 and two on the season. Varity came on for the ninth and God is 33rd. Reyes had a stolen base.
July 25, Seattle in town, taking on the Braves down and hot Atlanta. Would went to the mound for the Braves went nine innings only allowing one earned run and proved to 14 and three on the season. July 30, Atlanta and Cleveland taking on the Indians. Alvarez went to mount for the Braves won seven innings allowing to earned runs and improved to 10 and seven on the season. Valverde got his 34th save. Gentry, Utley, Jennings, canis, and Lise had stolen bases for the Braves.
August 1, Atlanta in Detroit, taking on the Tigers. Asencio took them out for the Braves and gave five earned runs. Thankfully the Braves bats bailed him out as they scored 10 runs in the game. Jennings, Utley, and Adams had home runs for the Braves. Reyes with two, Jones with two, Jennings, Utley, kittens with three and Harrison all had stolen bases.
August 7, Atlanta and Baltimore taking on the Orioles. Bud Smith finally back in went nine innings, allowing one earned run to improve to 15 and oh on the season. Reyes, Kipnis, and gentry all had stone bases.
August 9 a 13 inning game between Atlanta and the Orioles. Gore got to start holy one earned run and the Braves batters only scored one themselves before the 13th inning. All the Braves had 12 hits, but could only score 2 runs out of that even more Utah or the Orioles that had 11 hits and only scored one run. Provided all the scoring for the Braves two solo shot home runs one in the sixth inning and then one in the 13th inning that won the game. Reyes and Harrison both had stolen bases.
August 11 Kansas City in town taking on the Hometown Braves. Took them out for the Braves only allowing one earned run and he got no decision. Val Verde ended up getting the win. As the Braves won and the bottom of the 10th. Hopefully again was the hero of this game hitting a homer tied up in the bottom of the ninth inning. With two and Kitt had the three bases for the Braves.
August 12, Kansas City still taking on the Braves and Atlanta again another extra inning game. Bud Smith went, took them out for the Braves and got a no decision. Braves were down to almost no relievers liberatory did the final three innings by himself to get the win. Jennings hit a homer in the ninth inning tied up to force it into extra innings. Jones was the only one to get a stolen base for the Braves.
