Breaking News Thursday, 6/9/2016 Wednesday 6/8/2016: Cleveland has no chance in a 1-hitter by Cory Wade PITTSBURGH - Cory Wade took the mound and never left. Wade (7-5) struck out 4 and walked 1, throwing 56 of 93 pitches for strikes. 'They took some ugly cuts at my breaking stuff, so I kept throwing it. Fortunately they were not able to adjust in time.' Pittsburgh's first baseman Mark Trumbo stroked 1 hit in 4 AB, homering once, and driving in 2 runs. That was enough to support the brilliant performance of Wade. The final score of the game was 4-0.
