Welcome Braves fans as we recount all the wins the Braves had in July after the allstar break. Atlanta was scorching on the field as they continue to run away with the NL East.
July 16, Atlanta out in Oakland taking on the A’s. Talk about a pitching duel nobody scored a run till the 13th inning. Got the start for the Braves went nine innings didn’t allow an earned run and got no decision. Varity eventually got the win. The Braves were horrible on the base pats. They had 11 hits and stranded 15 players. Harrison, Jennings with three, kittens, Adams, and Lastro counted for the seven stolen bases by the Braves.

Harrison and Adams had sacrifice flies to score the two runs that the Braves managed to put on the board. Reyes and kittens had stolen bases. Those both set up the scoring runs that the Braves put on the board. 64,965 fans came out to Atlanta Fulton county Stadium to see this pitching duel, ultimately the Braves won on two hits.

July 27 another game against the Yankees. And this one was a pitching duel as Harden took on shields for the Yankees. Harden went eight innings, allowing one earned run and improved to 17 and one on the season as the Braves defeated the Yankees by one run. Belli a perfect ninth inning to get us 31st of the season.
