Disheartening and takes any motivation out of taking the time to build a team and participate for a long ass season. lets look at the complaints COL got an extra start from a starter -Would be valid if it came down to being tied with them or one back, but you ended up 2 or 3 back. You had to face the dodgers in the final series with pitchers that pitched more than 35 games -4 other teams in the NL faced the Dodgers the same number of times you did vs the same pitchers and ended up with better records than you There is an interleague schedule now -everyone faces the same teams so ahhhh More HR were hit this season -all teams hit the same ratio of HRs no matter what. looking at the situation logically though, none of the irregularities actually mattered in which teams made the playoffs.

My understanding was that you could start your pitchers 65 times each but they just couldn't play in the playoffs
