So 538.com had this article for 33 weirdest charts and one of them was an NFL chart essentially depicting dynasties over the course of history.
I was able to use Excel to do the same thing here. Check out the Historical Wins & Charts link and go to the Dynasty Chart. You will see that I color-coded each team's performance by winning percentage and further noted seasons in which a team's season was in the midst of a excellent span of season (in this case, 3 seasons of at least .580 pct).
I set this up so that it would automatically update each season when I input the data. It will look cooler once we get another 10 seasons under our belt and the Dodgers/Yankees return to earth =)
I hope you have as much fun looking at it as much as I did putting it together!

Interesting info. Though what I see is that Milwaukee has had the poor luck of having the Dodgers in their way. That'll change
