The system is being abused? I am shocked and amazed and didn't expect that to happen at all!
I think that as retribution every post pad should be compensated for by the offender with an actual league related post people with an interest in the league would want to read. This all in an effort to create an idiotic emissions neutral environment on these forums. we've lost too many brain cells already. Will somebody please think of the brain cells?
There, that'd make them think twice before mindlessly post padding! well, I would hope so.

I have GABL to hear you guys complain about life speeding by you old farts. Yeah, GABL is a fucking terrible league. You know, here's the thing I find funny about people trashing GABL, particularly you Spencer..............when I started that league I invited people who I thought would like a little more "mature" setting instead of all the stupid bullshit that was taking place in other leagues. Hell. I even advertised it that way. And yet you STILL signed up as an original GM. If it wasn't your cup of tea, you certainly didn't have to sign up. For being such a shitty league, it's lasted longer than about any other league I've ever known or been a part of. Some of you prefer to hang around with childish frat boys...............whatever. Fine. I prefer actual BASEBALL fans who don't resort to name calling, but I guess that's just my old fuddy dud self. |

I will institute a cap of 5 posting points per season. After each season, I will edit each member's profile to include a public notation indicating the number of posts at the beginning of each season, thereby allowing us all to determine when you hit 50, 100, etc. posts in subsequent seasons.
I will also penalize people points for obvious post padding consisting of repeated attempts at consecutive no-content quoting, one-letter, one-word or similar posts. I don't mind an occasional no-content quote, "lol" or "This." once in a while because they can sometimes offer something to a conversation, be it to prove a point or just to be funny.
