Cubs trade SP-Chuck Dobson and C-Andy Etchebarren to the Red Sox in exchange for C-Charlie Lau.
In other news, cats and dogs are now sleeping together.
On the surface this trade may not make a lot of sense for a team that is trying to re-rebuild I guess, but we have a glaring hole behind the plate and our top catcher prospect(s) are still at least a couple of years away. I like both prospects I moved but Dobson is probably 6th or 7th on my list of starting pitching prospects and I've got two catcher prospects I like better than Etchebarren.
