Seaver and Piazza would be my obvious top 2 choices here, with Wright being #3. I'd love to be able to reserve all of them, but if I can only choose 2, it will be Seaver and Piazza.

Tom Seaver (1966): Value: 2 * (10.6 + 10.1 + 7.8 + 7.2 + 6.8) = 85.0 = 85 Ratings: G/G/B/G/B with A endurance
Mike Piazza (1988): lol @ 62nd Round Value: 2 * (8.7 + 7.0 + 6.2 + 5.4 + 5.4) = 65.4 = 65 Ratings: B/A/P/B/A/G with D speed, E steals, B range but a lot of PBs
David (Shale's Mr.) Wright (2001): Value: 2 * (8.3 + 6.9 + 6.8 + 5.9 + 4.7) = 65.2 = 65 (Still Active) Ratings: G/G/F/A/G/A with C speed, B steals, B range (very close to B in AVG and G in HR; needs a couple more good seasons.

Won't be able to get all 3 unless you naturally draft one of them.

Won't be able to get all 3 unless you naturally draft one of them. Yeah and the fact that I'll almost certainly be tanking for a while once the Mets begin in 1962, the possibility of naturally drafting Seaver could happen.

I don't think you'll have a choice but to tank in the 1960s, lol

I don't think you'll have a choice but to tank in the 1960s, lol And that's why I now understand at an older age why the Mets in reality were so bad in the 60s. They didn't start with much talent at all and it took many years for that 1969 team to get fully assembled.

I care.
Dwight Gooden (1982) Value: 2 * (12.1 + 5.5 + 4.4 + 3.7 + 3.5) = 58.4 = 58 Ratings: G/G/B/G/B with A endurance and E drug resistance
Darryl Strawberry (1980) Value: 2 * (6.4 + 6.3 + 5.4 + 4.8 + 4.7) = 55.2 = 55 Ratings: A/A/A/B/G/F with B speed, B steals, D range, D drug resistance

If I can get Seaver naturally, might reserve Doc. Same ratings and all.

10 for reservation + 85 for player value + 6 for draft day jump = 101 points. Your second round pick will be forfeited.

10 + (8.7+7+6.2+5.4+5.4)*2 = 75 + draft jump

You're at 14th slot, Piazza is ranked #3 by CPU, so the draft jump fee is 11.
Total cost is 10 + 65 + 11 = 86. You forfeit earliest 2nd and 3rd round picks.
