oh, i just figured the rule was like bbsbl, where i know the comish from. anywho, we can edit and send the picks in the offseason each year,
Where can i vote to overturn the rule, its dumb that you cant trade future picks, just a cop out for rookie gm's

No, it's in place to keep bad GM's from ruining the future of teams. I liked it better when we didn't allow for trading of picks at all. And simply posting them every year for a scrub is simply exploiting the rule.
We'll see what Chris says, but I hope he sticks to the rules on this one.

Follow the rules, cheater. where have I cheated? The rule is quite clear: Draft picks may be traded for the upcoming draft only. For example, prior to and during the 1960 draft, teams may only trade 1960 draft picks. Upon completion of the 1960 draft, 1961 draft picks may be traded. Only picks in the first, second and third rounds may be traded. That is straight from the Constitution. You are trying to do just that, even though you know it's against the rules. And the only reason you MIGHT get away with it, is b/c this league doesn't have a rule about fair trades, or Commish approval. If it did, your 1st round pick for a scrub trades the next two years couldn't go through. Again, you know the rule, stop trying to "get around it". It's in place for a reason, and has been in place (or a stricter rule) since the league began. What do you call somebody that knowingly breaks the rules? We call them cheaters down here.

RELAX OK, so we all know that you're going to post scrubs for 1st round picks the next 2 years instead of assuming. Is that better?

the problem is other teams have done this...and they shouldnt have been allowed to either....none of those were two years picks in advance tho....so this opens a pandoras box of sorts..... Chris will need to make the call ... and from here forward just no more trading pics in advance for scrubs. those trades would be void automatically...or allow them.

If we do future trades at our own discretion who cares?
The rule is meant to prevent teams from being ruined. That kinda implies multiple picks and new GMs. If Stool isn't around to trade me the 1sts then I get fucked. No one else.

It is the same trade. Were future trades to circumvent the rules. Chris can do whatever he wants though. Obv.

lol Dave; I'm code enforcement too (not police though).
Anyway, a 1st + boozer for rowe seems legit (enough) and I will process (next sim). Future trades will be treated separately and should stand on its own, whether they are an extension of a prior trade or not. It's as close to a PTBNL I'll allow without specifically permitting same. Now if I see "1st + scrub <--> scrub", I'm going to tell you to rework it.
Mark, I think you are referring to the BOS/MIN trade from last season, but I think that was reworked to a certain extent. I don't think we have a problem. Maybe it's a sign of Dave getting desperate to hang onto his talent...spells good news for future NL Central teams =)

Mark, I think you are referring to the BOS/MIN trade from last season, but I think that was reworked to a certain extent. Yeah that and another one I believe...would have to look...but is it really reworking if all they are doing is taking out the picks and trading them next year for scrubs....not really.
