Top Prospect Promotion Fan Interest Boost

As discussed in an earlier post some time ago, I had contemplated an idea regarding calling up top prospect which *should* generate fan interest and so I am devising a system that will do exactly that, generate fan interest. This system is partially modeled after BBSBL but tweaked to the way I think lol. Without further ado:


Top Prospect Promotion Fan Interest Boosts:
- Top 15 Position Players and Top 15 Pitchers, as shown in Top 100 Prospects list, as of each season's Opening Day sim, will be eligible.
- Prospects called up after file flip but prior to Opening Day sim will still be eligible, but subject to its rank as of the Opening Day sim.
- Commish will post an annual list and potential Fan Interest boost in the "Prospect Promotion" Board/Thread prior to running the Opening Day sim.
- Owner must announce (post) intended call-up prior to June 1st (essentially prior to Extensions being open) in order to earn the boost and the prospect must remain on Active Roster until end of World Series, except when serving time on the DL, or the boost will be taken away.

- Fan Interest will be increased by the following formula: (21 - Top 15 Rank), with Fan Interest not to exceed 90 overall.
- Multiple call-ups will stack Fan Interest boost, but only by an additional 5 points, with Fan Interest not to exceed 90 overall.



This will take effect immediately.

Clearly this will benefit the teams with low Fan Interest points, so this is a small attempt to deal with the lack of parity. I may have other rule changes in the pipeline.

This would have been key when i bought up watt, lee, and marshall last year but sadly fisk is not coming up yet

Wouldn't have mattered since your fan interest was probably 100 anyway.

Sorry, too late. The deadline was the sim before last (before June 1st).

You have Catfish Hunter to possibly use next season if he stays up there.
