Breaking News
Monday 10/3/1972: Player of the Week honors go to Jackson and Monbouquette The American League's best player of the week was New York (A)'s Reggie Jackson, who wins the award for the 1st time in his career. Reggie pounded opposing pitchers, hitting .522 with 2 HR and 4 RBI while slugging .870. The Player of the Week award in the National League goes to New York (N)'s Bill Monbouquette this time, as the pitcher displayed the best pitching perfomance in his league. Bill went 2-0 with an ERA of 1.06, while fanning 19 in 17 innings of work. He hurled a shutout as well.

Sunday 10/2/1972 : TEX: Paul Schaal was injured while throwing a ball. Diagnosis: Strained Elbow Ligament. He is day-to-day, but full recovery will take 1-2 weeks.

Same thing happened to one of my Pithers Jerry walker 3 seasons ago...for a solid sim Month, his healing process extended every sim then, has a big negative pd

Nice job Minny! I will export in the morning before work tomorrow if i got time or after work at night...either way ill get it in at least before Saturday morning. I expect you yanks to make quick work of my team again.

Congrats Adam. Maybe my 10 AR 4th starter will decide to throw under a 5.5 ERA next year and I won't need to play in to try and make the playoffs lol

Thanks, guys. You did a hell of a job, Break and I wouldn't be surprised you see your team make the playoffs next year. I wasn't expecting to beat you and I'm both surprised and thrilled that I did. Congratulations on a hell of a season! You built a great team.
