I put together a good young Pirates team when I had it, but Allison was definitely one of my biggest disappointments, even despite the accomplishments he had.

He was made better, i had boyer, robinson, mathews and more to protect him

not to mention by the time Thornton would be ready Callison would be ending his usefulness, so moving Briggs to the OF would be possible by then. why would I move briggs to the OF? My OF consist of Murcer/Agee/Smith? If we are playing softball I have a spot for him I guess. Callison is a utility player for me. Again Thornton I just do not have faith in that he will develop. That is why I traded him So much for your OF being set. I sure wish some of you would post trade blocks before you deal 27 year old, multi-year All-Stars. Oh well. |
