Welcome to 1976! We need a couple owners! Let's step it up; I know it's an old game. Bring some guys over from BBS. The 1977 Expansion boards are open, so feel free to post a preliminary 15-man protection list. It is not due for another 6-7 weeks.

File and pages are up. Financials and team settings have been corrected; messages and exports have been cleared. Only things I really need to do are check the team logos for 1976 and check the minor league team names (never did it last season). As per usual, please note that the amateur players have NOT been touched yet in this file. Darryl completed the work a week ago, so I just need to translate it over, which I will start tomorrow.

I will not post a schedule for a day or so, but plan on next Monday night being the EARLIEST we will start off-season stuff.

Feel free to export FA offers; they will not get lost as we make updates in the file because I do not import FA offers until the actual sim --- importing offers and then posting a file allows other teams to see who has a favorite offer and it would be possible to top an offer by simulating (you do not need commish powers to sim FA). FYI, I am debating a new rule: ANY PLAYER receiving a 20M offer is immediately released back into the pool and held for a blind auction. I may do this without polling.

Winter meetings can begin! Now is the time to rethink strategy, make trades and propose rule changes.

Shale, you have like the bare minimum # of players. I may have to enact a rule of minimum number of minor league players (10) or something. Damn!

id be for that rule.... honestly some thing having less means your guys get better rate ups. they also get the rate downs. i have a deep system full of minor league lifers and boast the best system.

Yea I went on a short vacation, then hurt my back and asked my brother for help. He is finishing up the amateur players tonight. We will start Sunday night! I will post schedule tonight.

Pain is gone, but took 4 days to go away. Hurt to breathe. I think putting my son on my shoulders is now a thing of the past. He is almost 6, so...
