Atl SP Dobson has started the season on fire, putting Atl in position to win every time he takes the mound. At 35 years young he is tearing up the league with a 2.05 ERA and a WHIP lower than 0.70.
Most of the sporting world was amazed that he survived the purge of talent that was traded away / released when the new GM brianh took the reigns of the team. With Pat leading the way Atl has been in the lead of the NL East since opening day, being Cinderella of the division, as no one saw them having a winning record much less leading the division more than 4 days into the season. In just 7 games Pat is 5-2, has had 2 complete games and a shutout while striking out 44. One of the losses was a heart breaking as the offense gave him zero support in a 1-0 game that he pitched all 9 innings and only gave up 3 hits...
Atl is truly blessed to have such an amazing talent on their team.
