File and pages up; we are ready to begin our 26th season! Please get your exports in by tomorrow, MONDAY, evening at 8:00 PM Eastern. It will be a double-sim, as per usual. I might delay the sim a day depending on spending and how many exports I get. I am thinking the magic number is 16.
Remember, you get TEN (10) points for the Opening Day Export! However, please do not claim it yet; Dave will tally up the Franchise Reservation Compensation, FA Exports, ST, Ammy, and OD Export points and add to each team's bank AFTER the Opening Day Sim! Shale, add voting results AFTER the Opening Day Sim as well, if you have not done them already.
Once the Opening Day Sim is run, I will send the 1978_OD file to Trevor to run the Fan Expectations. And hopefully I do not delete the email this time.
Also, I need a GM for the A's and Dodgers. If you find someone, 100 points to you!
As far as points, the following teams MUST spend their excess points as follows, by the time I run the Opening Day sim. If not, I will spend them as I see fit.
BOS - 180 - Spend 30
CHA - 209 - Spend 59
DET - 249 - Spend 99
TEX - 190 - Spend 40
CHN - 225 - Spend 75
HOU - 215 - Spend 65
LAN - 184 - Commish Spend 34

Don't know how everyone else is doing, but I had an hour and a half train delay getting home today. Just now getting around to setting things up.
All that to say, if more people wanted to start the season tomorrow, that's fine with me. But if it is tonight, I'll be ready.

The part that sucks is I don't have the changes here so I have to wait till a new file is up. |

Opening day is the only thing that stopped me from going off on 75 middle schoolers the day before Halloween....well that and Paul Manafort would have hogged all my CNN time

A 1-day turnaround between ST and OD is just not enough. I always like 2 days to get ST files in and then 2 for OD. I get Chris' general sim schedule but ST and OD should always have 2 day gaps imo

I actually brought my laptop to school just in case I got stuck in the library doing homework (which ended up happening) and was able to connect to wifi and exported right before my 2nd class. Worked last night then smoked and watched World Series highlights and completely forgot about the sim til I woke up today. I actually had my team set while doing ST but had to get it in and do George's shit too. |

Just got home for the first time since Saturday. Two straight days of first aid and then classes and newspaper today.
